Karl Romig & Mimi Aycock

Karl Romig

Karl has two great looking kids at STM. Mason, a 5th grader who is a mini me version of Karl, and Reese, a 2nd grader who has a future in politics. His beautiful wife, Brittany, also attend STM back in the day. Karl grew up in Metairie, Louisiana in which he attended Archbishop Rummel High School. He then played Baseball at Delgado CC for two years and after injuring his shoulder he transferred to LSU where he met his wife. Karl graduate from Southeastern Louisiana with a General Studies degree. Karl is an Outside Salesmen for Southern Aggregates which is the largest mining operation in Louisiana. When he is not working he loves to hunt and fish with his family, although his wife hates when hunting season comes around. He is very thankful for his parents, brothers and all his in-laws. They are the most important thing to him. His family thinks he is the best athlete in the family. If you ask him that’s a true statement. Karl is excited to be a cast member this year and looks forward to putting on a performance of a lifetime.

Mimi Aycock

Mimi Aycock is the proud mom of two incredibly creative, smart, adorable and fun STM students, Charlie (4th Grade) and Cecilia (“CC”-1st Grade). She was born in Lutcher, LA (shout out, St. James Parish!) but grew up in Dallas, Chicago, and finally Atlanta, where she lived for 10 years and graduated from Roswell High School. GEAUX HORNETS! While attending RHS, she was heavily involved in the Theatre Department where she served as club President and received the Best Actress Award her Junior year. Two of her favorite roles were “Puck” in a Midsummer’s Night Dream and “Florence” in the female version of The Odd Couple. Mimi was the only student in her 1995 graduating class to attend LSU where she pursued a Theatre Degree, parties, as well as her husband, Tad, a Franklin, LA boy. While the Theatre major did not last, her pursuit of her husband has 22+ years later, 15 of those married! She did finally graduate from LSU in 2005 (shout out, General Studies degrees!) and continues to pay student loans. Mimi is currently the Director of Operations at Northwestern Mutual-Baton Rouge where she has worked for 15 years. While she proudly wears many hats, her most favorite role is being on the planning team for the firms early 2020 office move to the new @Highland development on the corner of Highland and Bluebonnet. Mimi is thrilled to be a part of the Dancing to the Eagle Beat cast and thanks her family and friends for their support. She also wants to win. Badly.
